Fire Remedy Mission shows up for people experiencing "houselessness" and crisis with practical help and human care. No lectures. No hoops. Just support that respects people as they are.
At our main hub in Longview, we bring people together through Fireside Recovery meetings, art therapy, and Bible study, while offering transitional housig, street outreach, and hands-on skills like gardening, beekeeping and tending to the rescue animals on our farm.
It's all about building independance, community, recovery, and hope.
Inspired by Luke 14:12-14.
Our rescue animals heal hearts alongside people. Many come from neglect or loss, just like those we serve. In caring for them, individuals rediscover purpose, gentleness, and the quiet belief that they matter. A warm body to care for, a life that depends on them — it changes everything.

Randy England lives by his father's motto: 'If nothing changes… nothing changes.' Guided by this wisdom and his grandmother's unwavering faith in God, he is on a mission to make this non-profit help people in ways that his recently passed mother Jodi Lynn wasn't able to receive help. With over 16 years in manufacturing, including leadership roles, Randy successfully transitioned to Environmental Health and Safety, focusing on safe and sustainable practices. His journey is deeply personal. Losing his sister Ashlee to mental illness and addiction in 2014, and then Mother Jodi a day before F.R.M's first scheduled outreach on Feb. 13, a fresh fire was ignited within him. He saw the urgent need for support systems and accessible resources for those struggling. Witnessing his mother's struggles with poverty and his sister Brandy's resilience in rural life further fueled his desire for change. As Founder and EHS Coordinator, Randy believes that with The holy spirit within us and showing love by coming together, we can transform lives. He's learning how to build this space to it's full potential. FRM is where people can find community, learn sustainable life skills, and find hope. Beyond work, Randy cherishes family time and connecting with others while fishing. He believes in the power of community and shared experiences. His vision for Fire Remedy Mission is ambitious: self-sustainable temporary housing in multiple locations, transitioning the main house into a rennovated men's home. He continues to re-define recovery and community tools to effectively combat homelessness.
He believes in an empowering startup model that promotes a sustainable and environmentally conscious path to a better life. Randy embodies resilience, and a relentless drive to make a positive impact. He's the kind of leader who inspires others and gets things done safely. If you're looking for someone with a heart for people and a commitment to making a difference, talk to Randy.

As gardening season approaches, safe access to our back lot has become urgent. The existing road is slippery and uneven, creating a serious risk...especially for elderly and disabled community members. At this time, it is not safe for people to walk the road, which limits access to our community garden and art therapy space.
We have already begun construction on an accessible access road, but to complete it safely and quickly, we urgently need gravel and an ATV style buggy. These resources will allow us to transport materials, stabilize the road, and ensure everyone can reach the healing spaces we’re building.
This access road supports the next phase of our mission: installing biogas toilet facilities that provide sanitation and clean heating fuel, setting up solar energy to promote renewable living, and constructing small, eco-friendly living spaces, potentially including geodesic dome treehouses and insulated hickory shed tiny homes, for transitional housing options.
This isn’t just infrastructure. It’s dignity, safety, and access for everyone.

Our Amazon Wishlist is one of the simplest ways to support Fire Remedy Mission in real, tangible ways. Every item on this list helps us keep outreach moving, gardens growing, animals cared for, and safe spaces open for recovery, creativity, and community.
Like many grassroots nonprofits, much of this mission has been built by hand and funded personally by those doing the work. Your support helps lighten that load and ensures we can keep showing up for the people and animals who rely on us. Each item ships directly to Fire Remedy Mission and becomes immediate, meaningful impact.

Our Fireside Meetings run on honest conversations, hot coffee, and a whole lot of heart. The items on this wishlist help keep the lights on, the seats filled, and the vibes warm, literally and figuratively.
One firepit uses wood fuel and the other is a gas covered pit area.
We are always taking firewood and propane donations to keep the movement flowing in recovery.
This mission is built hands-on and mostly out of our own pockets, so every item you send helps us keep showing up for people who really need a place to land. It’s an easy way to make a real impact without overthinking it. Ships straight to us. We’ll put it to good use. Promise.

Outreach is where the rubber meets the road, and sometimes where the road is cold, wet, and unforgiving. This list helps us pack bags with essentials like food, hygiene items, and survival supplies for people living outside.
We do this work hands-on, often straight out of our own pockets. Every item you send helps us show up prepared, human, and respectful. No red tape. Just help, delivered where it’s needed most.

Tired of spinning your wheels solo? Roll with us. Join our crew of doers, thinkers, and straight-up good humans, guys and gals who aren’t afraid to get their hands dirty building something better. Connect, swap stories, tackle challenges, and maybe even have a laugh or two along the way... Volunteer and join as we build more capacity. It's worth the wait.
