The Real Reason People Drink — And How to Break Free

Feeling stuck in the cycle of drinking, guilt, and regret? This video dives deep into the real mental traps that pull people toward alcohol—and the 6 soul disciplines we teach at Fire Remedy Mission to stay grounded, sober, and spiritually awake. Whether you're early in your recovery or years into your journey, this message is for anyone who wants more than just sobriety—they want wholeness, purpose, and inner peace.

Who we are

Fire Remedy Mission was founded to support unregarded indigent wounded by society, ensuring their basic needs are met, helping them achieve meaningful, self-sufficient lives. Our team has been inspired to empower individuals towards resilience through temporary communal living, accountability and sustainability. Fire Remedy Mission members are dedicated to following Jesus’ example in reference to Luke 14:12-14 by giving luncheons, dinners and outreach not for repayment but to bless the poor, crippled, lame and blind.

President
Randy England
Randy England lives by his father's motto: 'If nothing changes… nothing changes.' Guided by this wisdom and his grandmother's unwavering faith in God, he is on a mission to make this non-profit help people in ways that his recently passed mother Jodi Lynn wasn't able to receive help. With over 16 years in manufacturing, including leadership roles, Randy successfully transitioned to Environmental Health and Safety, focusing on safe and sustainable practices. His journey is deeply personal. Losing his sister Ashlee to mental illness and addiction in 2014, and then Mother Jodi a day before F.R.M's first scheduled outreach on Feb. 13, a fresh fire was ignited within him. He saw the urgent need for support systems and accessible resources for those struggling. Witnessing his mother's struggles with poverty and his sister Brandy's resilience in rural life further fueled his desire for change. As Founder and EHS Coordinator at Fire Remedy Mission, Randy believes The holy spirit within us and showing love can transform lives. He's learning how to build this space where people can find community, learn sustainable life skills, and find hope. Beyond work, Randy cherishes family time and connecting with others while fishing. He believes in the power of community and shared experiences. His vision for Fire Remedy Mission is ambitious: self-sustainable temporary housing, transitioning the main house into an Oxford home, recovery and community tools to effectively combat homelessness. He believes in an empowering startup model that promotes a sustainable and environmentally conscious path to a better life. Randy embodies resilience, and a relentless drive to make a positive impact. He's the kind of leader who inspires others and gets things done safely. If you're looking for someone with a heart for people and a commitment to making a difference, talk to Randy.
Phase 1
Infastructure and ACCESS
We have begun construction for an access road on the back lot to improve accessibility for people with dissabilities to be able to access our community garden and Art therapy. We plan to install Bio-gas Bio Toilet Facilities that also function as a superb source for clean heating fuel. Set up solar energy to promote renewable energy usage and make living eco-conscientious. Build small living spaces, including geodesic dome treehouses, and insulated hickory sheds as tiny homes, for temporary housing. Every month we fill Fire Remedy Mission outreach bags and distribute them to people who are currently homeless and living on the streets. With Fire season now in effect we are taking donations to distribute the F.R.M. Outreach bags in efforts to support survivors of natural disasters and FIRES.

FRM Animal Rescue

You’ll meet "Licky", our soulful boxer rescue who became the emotional compass of the land, comforting trauma, grounding fear, and protecting joy wherever it blooms. She waited in the window for her mother after a suspicious overdose, now guiding others with her gentle presence. You’ll see Peaches, who bloomed back into life through friendship and play. You’ll witness Chocolate, our undersized goat with the flavor of joy in his name, nestled beside Revis, the quietly grieving sheep who found connection through silent companionship. We have rehomed Thelma and Louise, two Cane Corso–Lab sisters rescued from unstable conditions. Bonded, bold, and tender-hearted, they bring power and protection to our healing circle, reminding us that strength and softness are never at odds.

Our New Edition Rescue Animals include 8 rescue chickens, 2 possibly pregnant Female Hair sheep, one male sheep named Revis, and out two also possibly pregnant goats Lynn and Nora. One is a miniature. Each reveals more than fur and features—it shows how every creature here brings safety, comfort, and sacred presence to the land. Together, they are not just rescues. They are our remedy. The beating heart of a mission built from love. Saved from slaughter and recovering alongside our members
